There's probably two ways of looking at it.

If the Tree of Life gives immortality with one bite (similar to one bite of that other tree bringing in sin), then it would have to be 'no'. However, if the Tree of Life merely provided healing, and immortality only through always having access to it, then it would be 'perhaps, but it doesn't matter'. As long as access to it is denied (by the Cherubim at the gate), then there is no immortality.

We don't get much on the Tree of Life, but we get another snippet in Revelation, where the Tree of Life once again is available (during the Millenium period 'paradise'). Rev 2.7, 22.2, 22.14.

Let me start by saying that only God is immortal (1 Tim 6:16) - the rest of created beings are mortal (Rom 5:12). The Bible also say that the first couple was free to eat from every tree (Gen 2:16) except from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Gen 2:17). 

That would indicate that they could eat from the tree of life. As long as they obey God, they have access to the tree of life and would live – disobedience will bring death (Gen 2:17). 

Sadly, they doubted God and believed the devil (Gen 3:4). As a result of their disobedience, they lost access to the tree of life (Gen 3:22) and they died (Gen 5:5).
