Will there be shadows in heaven?

In heaven, there will be no darkness. This would include the shadows behind us. God’s light will be all around us so there is nowhere for darkness to go, correct?

I am asking this honesty and not being sacrilegious or blasphemous. Just a question that I have been contemplating for a few months. Any thoughts or musings?

1 John 1:5

ESV - 5 This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

James 1:17 describes God as the Father of lights, with whom there can be no variation or turning shadow. 1 John 1:15 indicates that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. Revelation 21:23 says that the eternal abode of the redeemed will not require an external light source, since the glory of God will give it light, and there will be no more night.

These and other such references in Scripture lead me to believe that no shadow will exist, either in relation to being required for coolness or relief from heat, or as a "natural" phenomenon (as on earth in the current age), since that will have passed away. (Even this present world provides an example or allegory of this, when the sun is directly overhead and no shadow exists.) (However, all these considerations or musings will be dwarfed into insignificance for the redeemed by the mere fact of being eternally in God's presence.)

The Bible does speak of Peter's shadow healing people on whom it fell (Acts 5:15-16), but there will no longer be a need for such healing in God's fulfilled kingdom. (Also, the key element in the healing was not Peter's shadow, but the faith of the individuals. In eternity, the redeemed will no longer be walking by faith, but by sight.)

Jesus created all that exists.Colossians 1:15-17 "Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

And he is before all things, and by him all things consist."

Jesus was born of Mary and was the image of God. If you see Him, you see the Father.

Jesus was crucified, died and arose. He went back to heaven He is now the Shadow of man in heaven. He was not that until He came to earth as a human being.

The very image of God walked on His earth, ascended to His heaven and took man's likeness back with Him.

Yes, I believe that heaven contains shadows. I also think that the transfiguration story tells us that we will know and recognize each other in heaven.
