Although the decision to place faith in Christ for salvation is made on an individual basis, and the Bible records instances of God's direct involvement in evangelism of a single individual (as with the case of Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch (Acts 8:26-39), for example), the Bible records other instances (such as Peter's sermon at Pentecost (Acts 2:1-41)) where the gospel message was presented to a large group of people (and, again, with evidence of God's direct involvement), with the result of thousands of people being saved at the same time. Modern technology has greatly enhanced the possible scope of evangelism efforts, and I would say that Christians would be fully permitted and encouraged to make maximum possible use of such tools for disseminating the gospel message.
