I am a PhD medical research scientist who came to the Lord 43 years ago when God touched my life dramatically. The bible became very real to me at that time (and still is) and I couldn't stop reading it.I believed in evolution at that time and thought it unimportant to my faith walk. I knew that I was saved immediately after my commitment to follow Christ. 13 Years post salvation I had an "ah ha" moment when a creation scientist pointed out that Adam and Eve were mutation free when they left Eden. This explained, biologically, lives of over 900 years and close relative intermarrying described in the bible. This initial revelation caused me to question all other aspects of science that I had learned whilst at university. My findings were as follows: 1. Evolution cannot happen. Mutations cause death and does not allow goo to become you via the zoo. This is confirmed by absence of intermediate life forms among the billions of fossils around the world. 2. Geologic formations around the globe are consistent with a worldwide flood. 3. Being able to see light from galaxies billions of light years away in our 6,000 year existence on earth can be explained by gravitational time dilution, a known scientific event. In short the bible story concurs completely with science as I know it. One can delve more deeply into this by going to creation.com. God's revelations to me in this area has increased my faith walk considerably and my belief that the bible contains absolute truth. However, getting to Heaven is not a science exam but knowing that we are saved by the precious blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ shed at Calvary about 2,000 years ago.
