Was John the Baptist conceived via an immaculate conception?

Both of these verses mentioned Elizabeth being barren (the inability for a woman to have children) so I wonder if John too was an immaculate conception.

Luke 1:7

NKJV - 7 But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren, and they were both well advanced in years.

Phenomenal question, Francisca! No, I don't believe John the Baptist was conceived via an immaculate conception. That would mean that he was preserved free from all stain of original sin. No one is preserved from the stain of original sin except Jesus. And that was because he had no human father.
