Who is Daniel 7:14 talking about, God or Christ?
Daniel 7:14 To him was given ruling authority, honor, and sovereignty. All peoples, nations, and language groups were serving him. His authority is eternal and will not pass away. His kingdom will not be destroyed.

Then he wrote down the dream and told the sum of the matter. 2 Daniel declared, "I saw in my vision by night, and behold, the four winds of heaven were stirring up the great sea.

In my opinion, the words "him" and "his" in the cited verse are clearly referring to Christ (God the Son), and the authority given to Christ by God the Father (described in the passage as "the Ancient of Days"). For me, this interpretation is strengthened by the reference in the preceding verse (Daniel 7:13) to the recipient of the authority as a "son of man", which was a title that Jesus applied to Himself multiple times in the gospels (and not just as "a son of man" (which could apply to any human male), but as "THE Son of Man", which was unique to Christ as a Being both truly and fully God and also truly and fully human (except without sin). (In addition, the son of man is described in Daniel 7:13 as "coming with the clouds of heaven", which were the same words Jesus used before the Sanhedrin in Matthew 26:64 and Mark 14:62 to refer to His return at the close of the present age.)
