...By creating only one path to salvation--faith in Jesus Christ our Lord--God in his infinite wisdom and love made it expressly easy for us to find salvation.

No multiple ways to salvation; no desperate attempts to lead a good life in a chaotic system that might allow us to come up short; no chance roll of dice. A simple, loving way to salvation provided by God's sacrifice of His only begotten son.

Foolproof salvation! And from that moment of surrender, comes justification--the blotting out of sins. Then the subsequent sanctification leading to a life ever more aligned with the God of Heaven.

Question of the age yes He is the only way, scripture is quite clear on this point, by faith only and that faith must be in the Lord Jesus.
He is the door and only by His Holy blood do His humble servants enter in.

The Lord Jesus build His cosmic bus by His rules, He is the only driver and the only ticket taker, standing at the entrance door of His bus.
No ticket or wrong ticket.......NO RIDE.........depart from Me for I never knew you.

Consider that the ticket in your hand maybe for another bus and driver's route with a warmer climate?

Hurt my FEELINGS blah blah, which would be kinder of me to know the truth and yet with hold it, so that you may labor in a lie, warm and happy for a season. Ezekiel 33:1

SCRIPTURE: JESUS + 0 = SALVATION

In the Lord's freedom and His only truth...............warrior on

The simple truth is, Yes.

6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6 ESV)

If heaven is the goal of Christians then Jesus is the only way to gain entrance.

1Ti 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Ro 5:17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

However, that being said, heaven is not the reward of the saved, to repeat heaven is not the reward of the saved!

Jesus said: Mt 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.[the promise made to Abraham is to inherit the earth, and we are the sons of Abraham by being in the anointed one Jesus]

Ro 15:8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:

Ga 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

Do we not realize that we are going to co-rule and co-inherit all that is in this world in the coming new age, on this earth!

Heb 6:12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. [contained in the Abrahamic covenant]

Heb 11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

We will receive all that has been promised to Abraham and David through our lord Jesus the anointed one.

Re 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Jesus is going to rule on this earth and that is where we are going to be ruling with him when we are resurrected from our graves, from the sleep of death. Only one man has or ever will have gone to heaven and he is coming back to rule over this earth forever!

Read all of Zechariah 14th chapter to understand what Jesus will be doing in the coming new age and we with him.

I would provide a counter point. Trusting in Jesus' substitutionary death on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins is one way to heaven. The other way to heaven is by perfect obedience. Jesus literally earned his way into heaven, Jesus did not need a Savior because he was sinless.

Can we do the same? Well, some popular teachers tell their followers this is possible, many people think following Jesus' command to love God and love your neighbor will be what gets you in. Both of these teachings are patently false. I would tell anyone who thinks they are loving God and loving their neighbor like Jesus commanded that they have not even tried and are self deceived.

We are sinful to the core, so sinful we are not even aware of how bad we really are before a holy God, the bible has to tell us what a stench in God's nostrils we are. Sin is a part of our DNA, it is a terminal illness we all have, some have more obvious outward signs but it is inside all of us.

The bible helps us understand who we are: people with deceitfully wicked hearts (Jer 17, Matt 15), conceived in sin (Ps 51), born dead in sin (Eph 2), astray from birth (Ps 58), fallen short of the glory of God (Rom 3), and others such as Ecc 7, Rom 5, 1 John 1, James 4, 1 Cor 15, Rom 6, etc.

Since perfect obedience is out the window you are left with Christ, having faith and trust in the forgiveness of sins won on the cross and given to you. His perfect righteousness is placed over you so you appear holy, as He is holy in the sight of God the Father.

If the saved will go to heaven, then Jesus must be the only way to get there. The apostle Paul said, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). But salvation does not mean going to heaven. Salvation is the receiving of something you do not now have, and that is - eternal life.

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, but by me" (John 14:6). Contrary to the traditional teaching that men will go to heaven when they die, the Bible plainly said that the soul which is the man himself die (Eze 18:20). And the dead returns to dust and lies in wait for a resurrection. The Bible also said that God the Father is coming down from heaven to dwell with men on this earth when the time comes (Rev 21:3). The way leads us to the Father, to our salvation. When do we inherit eternal life? That's at the second coming of Jesus Christ -when the dead in Christ shall rise first (1Thes 4:14-17). See also 1 Cor 15:51-52.

No where in the Bible does it say that the saved will go to heaven. Jesus Christ and the apostles never taught about that. But what the saved will inherit has something to do with what God promised to the fathers - Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And what did God promised Abraham? "For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed forever" (Gen 13:15). So the promise was the land of Canaan, on this Earth. It was forever, so the promise included eternal life, and eternal inheritance (Heb 9:15). The promise, then, is eternal life on this earth! Not in heaven. Scripture reveals that not only the land of Canaan will Abraham and his children inherit, but the whole "world" (Rom 4:13).

Are Christians children of Abraham and heirs to the promise? Paul definitely said, "And if ye be Christ's [Christian], then are ye Abraham's seed [children], and heirs according to the promise " (Gal 3:29). Through faith we all become the children of Abraham (Gal 3:7).

When will Abraham and his children receive the promise? Again, it is at the return of Jesus Christ - At the time of the resurrection of the just! - 1 Thes 4:16-17. Abraham and his children will be kings and priests in Christ's kingdom, and they will reign on the earth (Rev 5:10).

Jesus is the only way to be saved. What is the will of God? John 6:40 And this is the will of Him who sent me, that everyone that seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have eternal life, and I will raise Him up on the last day. Eternal security is a must for all believers because Jesus says so.

John 6:37 And this is the will of Him who sent me, that all that He hath given me, will come to me, and ALL that come to me, I will in no wise cast out. Jesus said it so we know it is true. True believer only follow what Jesus says and will not follow another. What ever Jesus says we know it is true.

He tells us how to tell false teachers. Matthew 7:15-23 We will know them by their fruit. Jesus said we are to do the will of God. John 6:40 False teachers tell us we can be saved by what we do or do not do, (our works) Jesus says we can not be saved by works but only by grace, what He did for us in His finished work on the cross.

Jesus said many will come before me on that day and tell me about all their good works. They did many wonderful works and kept themselves from sin, but Jesus says, depart from me ye who work inequity, I never knew you.

Keeping from sin and doing good works never saved anybody. Only Jesus work on the cross can save sinners which we all are. Galatians 2:21 I do not make void the grace of God, for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Romans 4:2 For if Abraham we justified by works, he would have something to glory in, but not before God. We can justify our selves before men by good works, but not before God. We can only be justified before God by faith alone without works. Romans 11:6 It is by all grace, not works, if it was by works, what we do, then it would not be grace. It can not be both. We are saved by grace through faith without works.

We are saved the minute we trust Jesus as the only way to be saved. We are given eternal life. Eternal means for ever and ever and ever. It means we can never be lost. John 10:28-29 says no one can pluck them out of my Fathers hand, not even us.

First John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may know ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

We believe what Jesus said. We will not believe what others say that do not agree with what Jesus said. John 3:18 We know that those that have trusted Him can no longer be condemned, but those who have not believed are condemned already.

We believe what the bible says. It says we are saved by faith alone when we first believed and we are saved forever because of what Jesus did for us what we could never have done for ourselves. He paid for all of our sins so that we could be saved through Him who saved us by grace.

True believers trust only in Jesus alone by faith alone for salvation, and accept it as a free gift from God. Salvation is for ever and ever and ever. So shall we ever be with the Lord.

Yes!
If it were not so I would tell you nothing.

Jesus declared it: I am the truth, the life, and the way to the Father and heaven. No other way but by me. I am the door, I am the way, and I am the resurrection and I am the life.

Who else ever proclaimed it with proof to substantiate it?

Jesus is the only man that was resurrected from the dead besides Lazarus, which he and the Father resurrected.

He was touched and ate with hundreds of people after his resurrection so I believe Him.

Is there anyone else who has had the most books written about him? The Holy bible proclaims Him in John 1 as God and in the begginning with God. As being with the Father from the very beginning of time as mankind knows it.

What person ever did the miracles that Jesus preformed? No one! Know not one person on planet earth ever did the works of Jesus.

You must believe this to be saved that he was, he is, and that he always will be and that he was resurrected from the dead is an absolute requirement for salvation.

Is Jesus the only way to heaven?

Actually, the gospel that Paul preached is all about it, as defined in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.

"I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the twelve".

Paul said that the gospel which saves us is the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Notice that Paul said that the death, burial and resurrection of Christ was not just significant, but of first importance.

In Galatians 1:8-9 Paul said, “But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!”

Also, in 1 Corinthians 2:2, Paul said to them, “For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified”.

And if you read through the book of Acts, the good news that the first century Christians preached was the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ; exactly what Paul said it was the only way to Heaven.

As Rotimi rightly pointed out, the question could be changed to ' is Jesus is the only way to salvation'

Jesus is the only way to heaven. He is the only way to salvation. He is the way,He is the truth and he is the life. Jesus is the only way to salvation.

Adam/Eve rebelled against God. They were disobedient. The consequences of disobedient to God is sin. Sin alienated man from God. The death was not sufficient to cover the payment of sin. A perfect and spotless sacrifice offered in just right time in the right way was paid by the Annointed one.

Our source salvation is Jesus Christ. By faith in Christ, we are saved and have the passport for God's judgement of sin and its consequences. We cannot earn salvation of our own. Jesus Christ paid the sin-debt through the sacrificial death. Salvation is a free gift.

Let us make flow chart: forgiveness (col1:14) leads to righteousness(Rom.3:22) leads to redemption(Eph. 1:17,Col.1:14) leads to restoration(Jn.3:16) leads to eternal life in heaven (Heb.5:9). Jesus is the only way to our salvation.

I humbly seek everyone's indulgence to do a slight adjustment to the question "IS JESUS THE ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN, to read "IS JESUS THE ONLY WAY TO SALVATION"?

The reason for this is that what Jesus leads believers to is SALVATION. And, salvation means for one to be ultimately free of death, both spiritual and physical. He is the only way to Salvation.

John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16 KJV).

John 3:36: " He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. (John 3:36 KJV).

Correlating these two scriptures reveal that to " perish" means " not "to see life", and also to "have the wrath of God upon oneself." For anyone to see life, or to attain to everlasting life, one has to believe in, obey and follow Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.

How so? Every human who hail from our first father, Adam, has come to be potentially under the wrath of God, just as Adam was after his disobedience in the garden of Eden. See Genesis 2:15-17; 3:17-19; 5:5.

"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Romans 5:12 KJV).

Lovingly, God provided a means for humans to ultimately escape his wrath, that is, His Son, Jesus Christ, as John 3:16,36 quoted above reveal.

This is finally confirmed by what the bible record: " For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23 KJV).

Salvation, or attaining to everlasting life, or escaping from the wrath of God, is possible only through Jesus Christ. The opposite, that is, failure to follow Jesus and obey him will lead to one being under the wrath of God, or to be destroyed, " For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life". (John 3:16 AMP).

Now, what hope do those who attain to everlasting life have? In other words, where will they spend their eternity? Are all the saved, that is all who cling to Jesus, going to heaven?

A deep and serious Bible study under the guidance of the holy spirit reveals that some (a minority, a "little flock") of the saved will spend their eternity in heaven as kings while others (a majority, "a great crowd" which no man can number, or, the "other sheep") will spend their eternity here on the earth!

How so?

1. God created the earth to be an everlasting habitation for mankind, Psalms 104:5; 115:16,17; Ecclestiates 1:4; Isaiah 45:18.

2. God gave Adam loving guidance on how to attain to everlasting life on the earth, Genesis 2:15-17. Adam's failure to follow God's guidance led to the wrath of God to dangle over him, Genesis 3:17-19.

3. However, God right there in Eden, promised to provide a way of escape eventually to obedient mankind, Genesis 3:15; 22:18. Of course Jesus became the Seed of the woman and seed of Abraham, Galatians 3:16

4. God's purpose for the righteous to live on earth for ever remains unchanged, Psalms 37:9-11,20,22,27,29,34; Matthew 5:5; Revelation 21:2-4

5. An agency, God's Kingdom, or the government of God under Headship of Jesus, will be used to bring about fulfillment of the promise, Daniel 2:44; 7:13-14; Isaiah 9:6,7.

6. Jesus will rule from heaven along with "saints of God" (the 144,000; the little flock", bride of Christ, " Israel of God", of which the first apostles were foundation members, Dan 7:18,21,22; Luke 6:12-15; 12:32; 22:14; 22:28-30; Gal 3:26-30; Rev 14:1-4; 21:9-14

7. The great crowd of godly people (the "new earth") live on the planet earth in exquisite delight, worshipping God under the rulership of Jesus Christ and the 144,000 (the " new heavens").

My grandmother, whom we called Mor Mor, took my sister and me to a Billy Graham Crusade. I did not know it then exactly, but I wanted to know the way to heaven, how to get there. Mr. Graham was having a huge crusade of 100,000 people in the three days that he was in Tempe, Arizona, at the Arizona State University football/track stadium, called the Sun Devil Stadium. Really!

Well, we three went on a Sunday. He was a dynamic speaker, and I was enthralled, to say the least. I found out that God considered me a sinner as we have all sinned. What's worse was that I discovered as did the others that the penalty for sin is death. This is what I feared, and what I feared the most.

I had been trying to live a good, moral life, but I knew I failed sometimes. "All our righteousness is as filthy rags," Billy would say. Uh-oh, now I'm in trouble, I thought. But Jesus, having lived a sinless life, and having been born sinless unlike the rest of us, could pay that death penalty as our Substitute. And He did. He died, the Just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God.

Not all of us would get saved and get to go to heaven. Some chose not to be brought to God; they'd rather go their own way (Isaiah 53:6). But I chose to accept the gift of Eternal Life which Jesus offered me that day (Revelation 3:20). Billy was saying something similar to this:

"[My] Jesus alone can offer eternal life because He is the only one who lived a sinless life and provided the perfect sacrifice for our sins by His death on the cross. He lived on earth as man, but was also divine. Because He was divine, He rose again three days after His death—the only one ever to die and come back to life on His own—then ascended into heaven. While the founders of various non-Christian religions of the world have died and been buried, Christ is very much alive!

Jesus was the only one to claim to be God and the only one to prove it. In His words, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me' (John 14:6).

Because the Bible is God’s inspired Word and God cannot lie, it does not contradict itself or teach falsehoods. It is in this very Scripture that Jesus is revealed.

Are you sure of your future in heaven? You can be."

Get email updates from the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, and his sons will tell you how you can get to heaven.
