How is Jesus the "True Shepherd"?
John 10:1 - 5
ESV - 1 Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door but climbs in by another way, that man is a thief and a robber. 2 But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

The True Sheperd is God Himself (Ezekiel 34: 11- 31); and Jesus was an offspring of David (Mathew 1: 17) who was choosen by God as a sheperd of God's peole (Ezekiel 34: 23-24). As in the Old Covenants; Ecclesiastes 1: 9 says: " What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun " and so, what has been done in Ezekiel 34: 1-31, is done again in the New Covenant;(John 10: 1- 18.) The True Sheperd is a good Sheperd who lays down his life for the sheep, and what Jesus has done to us, He was crucified for redeeming our sin in order to save us from condemnation of our sin and whoever believes in Him will be saved and live forever with Jesus (John 17: 1-26).

He's the only Begotten son of God. The fulfillment of God's love and promise. The word made flesh (manifested in the flesh) for us and for our salvation, begotten not made born of the virgin Mary. He was crucified for our transgressions and rose again on the third day according to scripture. He ascended into heaven where he became all in all more fully in God as in the beginning. He is the word of God that leads us in his everlasting light in all truth and goodness for our salvation that we may be made righteous and worthy through him, all things have always been made through him therefore our salvation too is also made through him and is the only way for us to receive salvation. John 14:16 Deut 31:6, John 3:16 John 14:17 We have restored fellowship and Salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ
