This would fit into the words of the serenity prayer at this point. God grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change. The courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference. I can not make anyone forgive me or even accept my apology. At this point I wipe my hands clean and turn it over to God. I think God expects me to pray for them often about the matter.
