Shrek is Love; Shrek is Life should be avoided like the plague...

Let's examine this:

As with all entertainment, be it the written word, or the dramatic presentation that cinema, television or video presents, one should be extremely careful about a lot of factors...

When a cultural offering might contain material unsuitable for all audiences, here are some considerations...

1). What age group is watching the film?
2). Are the viewers old enough to discern the difference between fact and fiction?
3). Will watching such a presentation hinder the understanding and practice of the Christian life?
4). Will the viewers have the maturity to glean important concepts from the film, while dismissing the obvious fictional elements as nothing more than storytelling devices?
5). Will the pure faith of Christian devotion remain intact after watching such a film?

The foregoing applies to material that is generally considered broadly inoffensive--yet there is a need for caution, as one would find in an age appropriate motion picture rating. In the specific case of Shrek is Love; Shrek is Life, it is plain that the material is more than offensive... It is downright Satanic.

Shrek is Love, Shrek is Life is an Internet meme. It is sexually explicit, and revolting to the max. Utter garbage. It has no place in a Christian home.

The idea of praying to Shrek is also offensive to Christians, and a direct insult to God. This particular material has no place in the Christian home.
