In my humble opinion the short answer is that His Word tells His people "I am with you always" which means there's no need for an email or phone message.

"But what about bad things happening?" some may say. Well scripture tells us that the rain falls on the just and unjust alike. Job 2:10

The good shepherd leads His flock and provides what they need and when they are attacked, He's in the fight to defend the flock from all enemies. Now sheep are very dumb animals with no sense of direction and if left on their own would perish quickly.

There are times of great tribulations in this life when all hell seems to be breaking loose all around us. In these times I've learned to look for God's will and peace within the tribulation.

Yes that accident was bad and it destroyed your new vehicle and banged you up good, but it didn't kill you! And just maybe in your hospital stay or physical therapy sessions there is a cosmic meeting with someone. Who can say?

Most times the knowings are less dramatic and we can flippantly miss them in our daily rush of life, simple things maybe that courteous DMV employee who just gave you favor on those fees......

I rise early each day and am walking in the dark of the new day. One can not see a thing by sight in the darkness, but you can hear everything like the creek flowing and animals large and small moving about.

As more light is added you see the grays and blacks of large things like trees and boulders and with yet more light the basic colors of everything start to appear. Finally in full light the wonderful and beautiful depth colors appear.

Now all these wonderful works of art and their beautiful glorious colors were there all along waiting to show me their treasures, having walked this path countless times before, I knew by faith what was there.

Much like a great symphony the notes must be played in the correct order and time for perfection, likewise I just needed enough light to see them with my natural eyes!

In the Lord's freedom and protection always..................warrior on.

Andy 3 photo Andy Mangus Supporter I am a Christian since October 1979 & devoted truth seeker.
My answer is from the many experiences since the moment that night I asked Jesus Christ to save me, to cleanse my very soul of all my wretched sins, to remove them from my past "as far as the east is from the west."

God is faithful and just to keep His promises to send His Holy Spirit to dwell in our hearts." He promises to "guide, guard and direct our paths to keep us sanctified, holy and acceptable unto the Father for unto that day of redemption."

God loves me and He loves all who calls upon Him, putting their trust in Him unto salvation! "Come unto me, saith the Lord, and I will give you rest within your soul". --Andy--

...I could go on some long scripture-citing, impressive discourse (as I truly believe the Word has the final say, and often lean towards elaborate writing), but I feel like The Holy Spirit just wants me to say it's simple as you can just feel and see it. Are you feeling it now? One thing I can testify is that it's kind of like the old Footprints prose: we look back and can see where The Lord carried us through our hard times, and even blessing us when we don't deserve it. Looking around you might not realize what's going on, and it's hard to imagine some order to all of this chaos, but best believe that it's evident to God's children that He loves us.
