Grew up in Flint, MI, accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior at 9 years old while attending Emmanuel Baptist Church on Broadway.  At 13 was baptized. At 20, still trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life began attending a Christian school called Cedarville College (now University) in Cedarville, OH.   Took a longer route to graduation (6 1/2 years) and graduated in 1985.  Earned a degree in Bus. Adm., and later a Masters in Education Adm.  Lived in Ohio ever since.  Married, have 3 adult children.  Have attended First Christian Church of Springfield, OH for the better part of 20 years.  Taught at a private Christian school for 9 years.  I am in my retirement years now, still trying to let the Holy Spirit mold me into the person God wants me to be.
