Lay person with bible study as their hobby

Christian with "bible study" as my hobby.  Lay person with college education, albeit in the "hard" sciences, not in biblical studies or theology.  Enjoyed studying for and becoming a graduate of 2 year "Lay-school of Ministry" of Lutheran Church, NE Wisconsin.  Greatly enjoys either attending or leading bible study sessions.  Personal mission is to bring others to Christ, stressing importance of understanding God's gift of salvation rather than trying to earn salvation through liturgical activities.  Always willing to learn something new.  Upon my work retirement, I'd like to pursue a mission with my wife and/or become a chaplain for retirement communities.
