NKJV - 38 Then Jesus, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it. 39 Jesus said, "Take away the stone." Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, "Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.

This is a very good question, the bible does not tell us, but as I ponder this I would say that he still living. It is appoint to men once to die then after this the judgment, Paul spoke of some others being raised from the dead when Jesus was and were seen in in the city. It is very possible that they all ascended with Jesus.
