How could Mary be acceptable to birth Jesus if she was born into sin?

The Virgin Mary was born into sin and shaped in iniquity-- how could she be acceptable to birth Jesus?

{I believe that The Holy Spirit indwelled Mary through supernatural means.  Just trying to understand if that rendered Mary "holy", as well.}

Mary was a young virgin highly favored and blessed among women but in no way sinless. However, she was the one chosen of God.

Matthew 1:19-20 "Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost."
".....conceived "in" her is "of" the Holy Ghost". I personally do not believe it was a case of sperm hitting egg but our Lord and savior assumed the form of a zygote (or similar), was implanted then gestated in Mary's womb.

Additionally, it is a physiological fact that under normal circumstances the mother's blood never enters the fetus. The nutrient / waste exchange occurs in the placenta.

Mary's virginity attested to Christ's miraculous conception and birth, that he was divine but I do not believe her virginity was necessary. Although safegarded, He did not become sinless as a result but always has been the sinless Son of God. The virgin birth was a "sign", a fulfillment of prophecy. "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." (Isaiah 7:14)

Jeremiah 31:22 "How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? For the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man."

I propose this solution - Mary was saved by the Lord from being born into sin, making her womb acceptable to contain the divine Logos.

She expressed her gratitude towards the Lord who saved her. She sang,
"My soul glorifies the Lord
and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,
for he has been mindfulof the humble state of his servant.
From now on all generations will call me blessed,
for the Mighty One has done great things for me - holy is his name."
(Luke 1:46-49)
