I would begin by reading 2 Timothy 3.
It is clear that the Apostle Paul was given a painful picture of people in the future.

People will exchange the truth of GOD for a lie, worshiping creatures rather than our Creator. Rom 1:25

They will become self-seeking, obeying unrighteousness Rom 2:8

Some will be bewitched & not obey the truth Gal 3:1-4

Others will get caught in useless wranglings which cause envy & strife 1 Tim 6:3-5

Even others will stray from the truth 2 Tim 2:14-19

The bible clearly tells us that a time will come when sound doctrine is ignored 2 Tim 4:3-5; when people turn to the commandments of men Titus 1:10-16

The Apostle Paul warned of false prophets who will bring in destructive heresies & blasphemies 2 Pet 2:1-2

All that is occurring in churches & ministries around the world is the evidence that the days are closing in.
And I thank GOD every day that He will come to take His church, His bride from the earth before those bowls of wrath are poured out on the earth!
