Good question and I humbly submit for your consideration that the core purpose of such establishments is serving over priced alcohol to a purchaser. (Isaiah 44:18) Now the core purpose of any drinkable alcohol is to alter the consumer or purchaser in direct relationship per the amount consumed; thought processes and behavior. (Ecclesiastes 10:2; Proverbs 24:10) As a Christian we should be aware of the great cosmic battle that rages on around us in so many different ways also that on this asymmetrical battle landscape; there are strong points and weak points. (Nehemiah 4:9;;Proverbs 22:3; Luke 12:35) Any commander worth his salt, will drive his enemy on to a defenseless weak ground while expending the least amount of his own resources, then moving to trap them on it. (Proverbs 27:12; Psalms 149:6) The quickest reality realization by a weak ground commander; in executing a quick withdrawal to a stronger point of defense or offense with the least amount of loss possible, will require him to have his wits about him. (1 Corinthians 16:13) Bottom Line: When skating on a froze body of water it's prudent and wise to be able to understand; if indeed the ice beneath you is now cracking. The dark domain and it's leftist minions incessant caterwauling to legalize any soft drug usage among the already foolishly and easily confused has a purpose friend.. (Ephesians 2:2; 1 Corinthians 15:33;2 Corinthians 11:14; 2 Corinthians 11:15) In the Lord's freedom standing clear eyed....warrior on
Dear Sister Norma, I am sure there are others that see your question as a test against the old established church, but really it goes back much farther than that. It is the pull of light, Jesus, who said, I am the Light of the world, John 8:12, John 9:5, and darkness of which, Satan is the prince. Eph 2:2 I have heard milliennials argue that Jesus ate with sinners and wine-bibbers, and this gives them the excuse to go into these places looking for sinners to "get saved". But I have yet to read in my Bible where Jesus was not DESIRED to come by those where He went. Try going into a bar with your Bible and see how welcomed you are. And let's talk about those bars... ever wonder why they are kept so dark? I mean do they even have real lights in there? Yes, they do. They are purposefully kept dark because children of the darkness and the spirits they carry don't want any light not even a light bulb on their sin. Why do they gather at midnight? (Or that's when the party is getting started)?Because there is more demonic movement in the night hours. Jesus begged His disciples to watch with Him in the night hours. Matt. 26:38, 40 The Lord told us to come out from among them and to be separate. 2 Cor. 6:17. Be different! How can the world want what we have if we are not showing there's a real personal difference between the world and being a Christian? And speaking of Christian, the very word means Christ-like. Now you're taking the Christ inside of you, where? Is it possible that you find church boring? Ha! Jesus did too! Jesus had to rebel against the leaders of His day but He did it with the word, He was so versed in the psalms and the prophets they were dumbfounded by Him. Do you know Jesus danced? There is nothing Satan created! So if you have found a pleasant experience in the world, God created something beautiful and wonderful that got twisted. Study church history. All protestant churches used to dance and shout before the LORD with all their might before they became too educated to dance like King David! I encourage you to find an "on fire," shouting, non-boring church. Be Blessed, Lena
