How can we be assured that Heaven can make us perfect, or can we be assured?

Deuteronomy 32:1 Listen, you heavens, and I will speak ...

Deuteronomy 32:4 4He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.

Deuteronomy 32:1

ESV - 1 Give ear, O heavens, and I will speak, and let the earth hear the words of my mouth.

Revelation 21:4 says, "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning nor crying nor pain any more, for the former things have passed away." Since death is the consequence of sin (Romans 6:23), and death will not be present for the redeemed in eternity, it can also be concluded that sin will not be present, and we will therefore be perfect, both morally and (with a glorified body (1 Corinthians 15:42-53)) physically.

I like an answer I found online under a devotional by Billy Graham, the evangelist who led me to Christ:

In Heaven we will be perfect—but by itself, Heaven cannot perfect anything or anyone; Heaven cannot save us. Only God—the Master Resident and Kingdom Title-Owner, who makes Heaven and all of its residents perfect—can do this. So while Heaven reflects the perfection of its Ruler, it is the Lord Himself who perfects His saints.

The Bible has much to say about the perfection of the One who occupies Heaven’s glory. “Listen, O heavens, and I will speak... He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he” (Deuteronomy 32:1, 4). The heavens declare that God’s instruction is perfect (Psalm 19:1, 7). His peace is perfect (Isaiah 26:3); God’s will is perfect (Romans 12:2); the Father in Heaven is perfect (Matthew 5:48); Jesus Christ is the perfect leader (Hebrews 2:10); and He alone is the perfect sacrifice (Hebrews 9:11).

Only the One who is perfection can perfect others: “By one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy” (Hebrews 10:14).

You may ask how we can be assured of this. Because the Bible says so—it is the reason. God’s Word is the ultimate authority that needs no other supporting documentation or testimony. The Scripture says, “‘The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind...’ Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantee of a better covenant. Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him” (Hebrews 7:21-22, 25).
