If I am interpreting the question correctly, I would say that Elijah chose that particular site for the death of the prophets of Baal because of the site's connection with the historical events discussed in Judges 4.

It was at Kishon Brook where, at God's command, Deborah and Barak had led 10,000 men in defeating the forces of Sisera, the commander of the army of Jabin, the king of Canaan (who had oppressed the people of Israel for twenty years), thus delivering Israel from his pagan rule, in the same way that Elijah (following the contest between God and Baal that took place on Mount Carmel, as described in 1 Kings 18:17-39) intended to end the Baal worship in Israel that was promoted by King Ahab and his pagan wife Jezebel.
