When Jesus said, "Father forgive them" were those yelling, "Crucify him" saved as a result?
People forgiven by God have salvation. Jesus forgave those crying "crucify him," so does that mean they were saved?
Luke 23:34
ESV - 34 And Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." And they cast lots to divide his garments.

I think the result may be that this particular act of encouraging crucifixion may not be held against them as a sin, but their salvation would still depend on their acceptance of Christ as their savior and the crucifixion they encouraged as payment for their sin.
