Paul's counsel in 1 Corinthians 7 with respect to the preferability of remaining unmarried drew no distinction with respect to males and females. He explicitly said (1 Corinthians 7:7) that he wished all of his readers (including both men and women) could remain unmarried as he was, so that they would be able to devote themselves entirely to service to God and the church. (However, he also recognized that this mindset was a gift from God that not everyone would be temperamentally suited for.)

So, I would say that it is definitely not wrong for a woman to intentionally forgo marriage and children. I would just add that both Christian women and Christian men who make that choice should then use the additional time made available to them as a result of that decision in service to God through whatever channels or opportunities He may make available to them.
