The main difference between Pharisees and Sadducees is that Pharisees believed in supernatural things of religion for example angels, demons, hell or heaven etc., on the other hand, Sadducees never believe in such things. It's too bad the Sadducees did not believe in the resurrection. That's why they are called "Sadducees," you see? Beliefs of Pharisees include: the resurrection of the body, life after death, they believed that God should be believed and worshipped even outside the temple, education, oral teachings, etc., their beliefs were conflicting when compared to Jesus. Pharisees, after getting along with Sadducees, conspired against Jesus. To be specific: 1a. Pharisees believed in the idea of the resurrection of the body, on the other hand, 1b. Sadducees rejected the idea of the resurrection of the body. 2a. Pharisees believed in supernatural elements like hell, heaven, demon, angels, etc., 2b. On the other hand, Sadducees did not believe in such concepts. https://askanydifference.com/difference-between-pharisees-and-sadducees There was a resemblance between the Pharisees and the followers of Jesus; they, unlike the Sadducees, were eager to make proselytes. "Ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte" (Mt 23:15). Many members of Roman society, especially women, were proselytes, as, for instance, Poppea Sabina. J. E. H. Thomson
