What is Christian Nationalism, and is it taking away from Christ being the head of the Church?

I have noticed a rise in politics concerning Christian nationalism.

If we use the simple definition of nationalism: “Nationalism is an ideology that emphasizes loyalty, devotion, or allegiance to a nation or nation-state and holds that such obligations outweigh other individual or group interests.“

Then Christian nationalism is believing in the triune God with salvation coming through Jesus who died for our sins. In today’s negative environment, the word implies inclusiveness with no one else allowed. That isn’t the will of our Lord! He wishes all to be saved and salvation comes only through His son.

When the Lord destroys this earth and rebuilds it, the the only nation will be God’s nation, which is Christian Nationalism.
