How is death the great leveler (Job 21:23-26)?

Job 21:23 One person dies in full vigor,
    completely secure and at ease,
24 well nourished in body,
    bones rich with marrow.
25 Another dies in bitterness of soul,
    never having enjoyed anything good.
26 Side by side they lie in the dust,
    and worms cover them both.

Job 21:1 - 34

ESV - 1 Then Job answered and said: 2 Keep listening to my words, and let this be your comfort.

As indicated in the passage from Job cited in the question, death is the great leveler or equalizer because all people experience it, regardless of any physical or socioeconomic circumstances by which they might be differentiated while they are still alive.

Some people may live longer than others, or have more material possessions, or live in a more hospitable area of the earth from a climatic standpoint, but death eventually comes to them all.
