Does God want me to stay in an unhappy marriage?

I married someone who made believe he was a Christian right before I married him 11 years ago. 

I have been with him off and on for 27 years. Its been 11 years now. I married him because we were living together, and we had a child. I felt the right thing to do was to get married.

It is tough being with him. I am not happy. But he had 2 stroke incidents and I feel that I need to take care of him. Would God want me to stay or get a divorce?
