The significance of an anointed priest is for us one fold, to love God with all of our heart, mind, soul, strength and to love our neighbor as ourselves. As all those who are in Jesus the anointed one are also anointed priests by the power of spirit that God gave to Jesus to give unto us.

Revelation 1:5 And from Jesus the anointed one, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten from among the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, and has made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

This is our postion now and we as priests are to offer up sacrifices every day.

Heb 13:15-16: By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

1 Peter 2:5 You also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus the anointed one - Christ.

One of the main sacrifices we can make is to take the message Jesus brought about the coming Kingdom of God at whatever expense or trial that might come about for doing so.

We are truly blessed to know the end result of living our lives here on this earth for our lord and savior Jesus the Messiah. When he returns we are going to inherit with him all that our God and Father has promised to give us and we are going to co-rule with Jesus as he rules over the nations as King of kings and Lord of lords on this earth. We are going to be glorified immortals ruling with him in the coming new age. Come soon lord Jesus to take up your place on the throne of David at Zion, Jerusalem!
