Solomon's salvation depends on whether he turned from his wicked ways prior to his death. More importantly, did he return to God?
Also, was he the author of Ecclesiastes? If he is the author and it was written after his downfall, then it seems as though he did return to God. For example, he wrote many times about the "meaningless" of riches and power and of life itself. Assuming it was Solomon, this author seems to have come to the realization that nothing in the world matters, only God. This serves as an excellent example for all who go astray (even the wisest) as God is willing to accept us if we will surrender our heart to Him.
Isaiah said there is no one beyond Gods reach, including Solomon, the wisest man that ever lived. All of us should be grateful to Jesus who made our redemption possible!
