How does one commune with a lukewarm Christian?

Revelation 3:14 - 22

NKJV - 14 And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, 'These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: 15 I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.

Hello Helena,

This is a good question and i believe it's one of the ways to know a true christian. If i get you right, you mean how do one relate with a baby christian? And if that is it, first of all, I thank God for your life and for the grace to know and grow in christ.
In my opinion, as far as we're still here on the face of the earth, i believe we've all gone through that path before (growth in the Lord) from babes to adulthood and for the purpose of Kingdom advancement, we must continue to obey as it's written that we should - "I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'' (Acts 20:35) and also ''Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; (Romans 12:10).

In summary;
- Never run away from them. (Heb 12:14, Rom 1:12)
- Always encourage them in the Lord, (Rom 12:18)
- Never hide your true identity from them (Ephe 4:15).
- Let your light shine (Phil 2:15).

These are my thoughts and i hope this will add to your knowledge.

Yours in the Lord,

Bro. Matt A.

Gal. 6:1 is a good answer. We are told in other scriptures to not to eat with workers of darkness. However, we need to speak with them and urge them to repent with love in our hearts. Except for the Grace of God there go I. We pray for the backslider and continue to love them and be kind to them when we see them....we aren't to go with them to places where they go or we aren't to follow after there sinful ways. Bad company does corrupt good character. It is important to seek Father God's advice about this matter.In 11Tim. we are told to turn away from those who have a form of Godliness but deny the power thereof.
Father God gives us all a chance to repent and when we don't He will
spue us out of His mouth if we don't REPENT. Amen

My motto has always been, first, lead by example. Leading by example is a leadership style where you model the behavior you want to see in your team members. When you lead by example, you don't just push team members towards excellence—rather, you actively demonstrate that excellence.

Warren Wiersbe said, "be “fervent in spirit” (Rom. 12:11). Fervent prayer is also vital (Col. 4:12). It was as the Emmaus disciples listened to the Word that their hearts were warmed. No wonder Paul commanded that his letter to Colosse [or, Colossae] be sent to the Laodicean church (Col. 4:16)!
