When I pray I sometimes experience REM. Is this a normal occurrence?
Sometimes when praying alone or at church I experience a Rapid Eye Movement, whilst still being awake. Research has only pointed me towards similar results through meditation and mystical religions. As a Christian is this normal?

If by R E M you meet a fluttering of your eye lids, yes this is something that can happen when you pray or are still before the Lord. This is evidence of the Presence and ministry of the Holy Spirit. Enjoy Him and let Him minister to you!
