Why didn't Jesus drink the wine mixed with myrrh?

ESV - 23 And they offered him wine mixed with myrrh, but he did not take it.

Jesus was focused on carrying out his assignment. He is just such an example of being in the world but not apart of it. He attended the wedding at his mother request, but did not participate in the drinking. I'm so happy that Jesus is an example for Believers to follow!!
