Well if you see in the Old Testament, isn't it written that the teachers lived in the temples? This way they wouldn't have to worry about rent or bills!? And that scripture in Timothy I believe is directed towards the apostle that we're moving from place to place building and starting churches!

One thing I do know is that we should always give according to our heart's desire! Nothing should be forced out of someone! This I do know, you know you have been changed and transformed when you give willingly without someone pushing you to do so!

I'm going off track, but nowadays yes, some pastors/teachers are overpaid I believe! But who am I to question that. Right?
