Is speaking the word of God to your problem a prayer?

NKJV - 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

Speaking the Word of God to your problems is WAY more than a prayer. It is speaking God's Answer, in His Own Words, directly at your problems, under His Authority! The Roman centurion in Matthew 8:5-13 simplified it for us. He's on a mission for Caesar, under Caesar's authority, and whether he speaks to his whole hundred or to an individual soldier, what He speaks happens! The Centurion, seeing Jesus speak to diseases and they leave, recognizes Jesus as a man operating under an authority bigger than anything he ever heard of. "Only say the word, and my servant will be healed." Jesus calls this recognition of His authority, FAITH! Check your life under the spotlight of Matthew 28:18-20: "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. GO THEREFORE..." Are you running your own missions, or are you GOing on His? If He has sent you on His Matthew 28:18-20 Mission, you are operating under His authority. As you recognize the power of that authority operating through His Word, when you read His Word to any stray mountain trying to stand against His purposes and the mission He's given you, it's got to MOVE!
