Do Jews continue to make blood sacrifices up to the present time?



      

Deuteronomy 12:27

ESV - 27 And offer your burnt offerings, the flesh and the blood, on the altar of the Lord your God. The blood of your sacrifices shall be poured out on the altar of the Lord your God, but the flesh you may eat.

No, they do not, The sacrifice had to be in the Temple designated by God and conducted by a priest. The Temple was destroyed by the Romans and the land is not available due to disagreement over the land and there Is a mosque built on the land. Also, sacrifice is not the only way for forgiveness. Prayer, repentance and good deeds are also used, more today, for forgiveness. The Bible approves of this and I believe is mentioned in Hosea and elsewhere in the Bible. Perhaps, the specifics of sacrifice dealt more with obedience. The Lord and His chosen people had some problems with obedience as we all do today. So, I do not think this way of forgiveness is going against the Lord's word in the old Testament.
