Personally I don't think God gets angry with believers, more disappointed. Since we all sin in some way each day, and sin is equal in God's eyes He would always be angry. I grew up with an angry Dad and I don't believe God is angry at believers. I think He is patient and has a "when will they learn attitude" and waits for us to plead forgiveness. If we are truly believers, we will seek God and beg His forgiveness. God is LOVE and love isn't angry but patient and kind!

While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 2pet 2: 19- 21

Salvation can be lost, it's a state where a believer becomes a REPROBATE. That's why we must guard it with fear and trembling.
Sometimes, I am angry with myself, but it doesn't mean I HATE MYSELF.

Romans 6:23 For the penalty for sin is death, but the GIFT of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Once we receive the free gift we are a child of God. John 1:12.

But now that we are a child of God, God does chasten His children. We have eternal life, but the wrath of God comes on he children of disobedience. Colossians 3:5-6.

God can withhold the blessings on our life. He may even take our life early. First Corinthians 5:5.

If our earthly fathers chastened us, so will our heavenly Father.

God can not lie. John 6:47. But, the wages of sin is death. Physical death. Not eternal death. The GIFT of God is eternal life. But the Lord chastens those He loves. Believers. John 3:18. We can no longer be condemned to hell, but we can be chastened by the Lord.

It is better to be an obedient child than a disobedient child. Even unbelievers believe it is wrong to steal, lie, commit adultery, fornication, and murder.

Our salvation does not depend on us or how we live, but our rewards in heaven does.

And we are all sinners to a degree because we cannot be made perfect in the flesh. First John 1:8 If we say we have no sin, we are deceived and the truth is not in us.

Colossians 2:13 He has forgiven us all trespasses. But God does not want His children living in sin.

The blood of Jesus covers us from all sin. Romans 4:7-8. But the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience.

But the GIFT of God still stands. Eternal life. Romans 6:23. We all die sooner or later, but heaven is our eternal destiny because the GIFT of God is eternal life. John 3:16. Jesus said it, we believe it, and that settles it. John 3:18.
