What are some outward marks of the Christian walk?

That is, what areas should show visible change as we grow in Christ?

Ephesians 5:3 - 5

ESV - 3 But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints. 4 Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving.

The answer to the question is found in Galatians. We know them as the fruit of the Spirit. If we are truly Christian we will have LOVE, JOY (not happiness, there is a big difference. We can be happy while being joyful but being joyful does not mean happiness all the time), PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS,GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS, AND SELF-CONTROL.
