Does it mean that to be a Spiritual father you have to be blameless and faultless? What is a Christian to do if there is a fault in a Spiritual father?

Spiritual fathers are supposed to guide us in spiritual matters. But if there is fault found with or in them, should a Christian continue to follow them with the same confidence?

1 Corinthians 4:15

ESV - 15 For though you have countless guides in Christ, you do not have many fathers. For I became your father in Christ Jesus through the gospel.
