Ezekiel & Revelation both describe "alternative" medicine- "the leaves are for healing". The use of drugs is not the problem, peyote, marijuana, coca plant, etc, it was all provided by God to help humanity but it was not meant to be used to escape reality. It’s the abuse that is forbidden. Thank YHWH for grace.
Christ and his followers drank wine. Paul recommended it's use to heal an imbalance.
God knows a positive outlook on debilitation, placebo or not, can heal. Be leery of people who seem good intention but may subtly invoke dark forces. RUN AWAY!
