What is the best way to pray for leaders of the Muslim world?

I would like to know how to pray for the leaders of the Muslim world. It seems to me from their actions they are not of the true and living God of the Bible. If I pray for their confusion and destruction internally, is that in line with God's will?  But if they fall under the protection of Genesis 12:3, I am out of line.

Genesis 12:3

NKJV - ³ I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.
