Romans 8:9. Without the Spirit there is no salvation. With the Spirit we have eternal life.
When do we get the Holy Spirit? The second we accept Jesus free gift of eternal life. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the GIFT of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
What if we lose our faith? Second Timothy 2:13 If we believe not, He abideth faithful, He can not deny Himself.
Second Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless, the foundation of God is sure, having this seal, (the Holy Spirit) the Lord knoweth them that are His.
The Holy Spirit is our comforter. First John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doeth not commit sin, for His seed, (the Holy Spirit) remains in Him, and He can not sin. But we still do. First John 1:8 and First John 1:10.
The Holy Spirit is our righteousness before God. Romans 4:6 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord imputeth righteousness apart from works. Romans 4:7-8. Blessed is the man whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. John 3:18 Believers can no longer be condemned to hell.
There are many more verses on the Holy Spirit but it is the Holy Spirit that we are born again.
First Thessalonians 4:13-18 All those who are born of God will go in the rapture of the church. First Corinthians 15:51-53.
We are to comfort one another with these words. First Thessalonians 4:14 and 18.
IT is the Holy Spirit that gives us eternal life. John 10:28-29. And I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. And my Father who is greater than all, no one can pluck us out of His hand.
The seal of the Holy Spirit is given to us the second we receive the free gift of eternal life by faith alone apart from any works. Romans 4:5. The second we trust Jesus as the only way of salvation apart from works we are sealed by the Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace ye are saved, through Faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the GIFT of God, not of works, lest any man should boast. Since the GIFT of God is eternal life, it is the seal of the Holy Spirit that is also the gift who seals us unto the day of redemption.
Romans 3:26-38 For He is the just and the justifier of them that believe in Jesus. You can not boast in free.
When we pray and do not know what to pray for, the Spirit of God prays for us. He makes our desires made known to God.
He makes intersession for the saints. Romans 8. Nothing can separate us from the love of God because we are sealed by the Holy Spirit.
