A spiritual breakthrough, I believe is a new direction in your life. It comes when the truth of God speaks to your heart. And you believe and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

To break through let us consider some examples from the Bible:

1Samuel 1:10 - Hannah was bitter and frustrated in her heart and cried out to God.

John 21, Peter was emotionally distant after all he had seen walking with the Lord. He needed a personal experience after denying that He knew Jesus!

Saul/Paul in Acts chapter 9 had a special revelation from the Lord that changed His life. In Acts 27:23 we see Paul holding on to the "anchor" while witnessing to others, "Don't be afraid!"

In Genesis 15 we see Abram/Abraham. His name was changed and his mind set was changed. His faith was his belief in the one true God. This was accounted to Him as righteousness.

The only standing of righteousness we have is when we see ourselves and who we really are. We know that only in Jesus Christ we are right before God!

Believe and receive!

I suggest 2 things are necessary for a breakthrough: You are broken and realize your only help is in crying out to God. And you know that your heart belongs to Jesus. Your heart declares it, not just your mouth. You love Him.

Romans 3:21-25: The two absolutes of scripture are recorded: Faith and blood.

Like Isaac, born to Abraham, we are children of the promise. We are not children of the slave girl. Galatians 4:28 - 31

Persevere, stand fast. Philippians 1:6, "Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."
