After being saved and asking for forgiveness, why will we be judged for every thought, word, and deed? I’m confused and scared.
1 Corinthians 4:5
ESV - 5 Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive his commendation from God.

By the way, it has been an attack by Satan himself (the god of this world) to make you confused and scared. This is part of his plan of keeping God's truth of love and forgiveness hidden from you. Put on the whole armor of God and fear not! Satan has no power over a believer in Christ! He's just irritated that he already lost the battle for our souls to Jesus Christ's victory for us at Calvary!
