Whom are the synoptics addressed to?
It seems obvious, when one considers to WHOM each of the Synoptic Gospels was written, that Matthew is addressed specifically to, and obligatory for, Jews, revealing their promised Messiah, and that Mark, addressed to Romans in Rome, is written ABOUT Jesus. Mark does not write in terms of a requirement being placed upon the Romans who, of course, knew nothing about Jesus as the Jewish Messiah, and were not about to become Jews. Then Spiritual evaluation means that Matthew 6:14-15, Matthew 18:35, and Mark 11:23-26, are not addressed to seekers and Believers in Christianity. When do potential Christians and Christians get addressed, from a Christian viewpoint?

NASB - 1 As they approached Jerusalem, at Bethphage and Bethany, near the Mount of Olives, He sent two of His disciples. 2 And said to them, "Go into the village opposite you, and immediately as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, on which no one yet has ever sat; untie it and bring it here.

I believe that the synoptic gospels explain who Jesus is and Pauls epistles show us how to be followers and is for Christians of all nations
