But I have this against you, that you have left your first love. 5 Therefore, remember from where you have fallen, and repent, and do the deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you and I will remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent. Revelation 2:4-5 NASB

“First love” doesn't mean primary love here. Besides, believers don't fall out of love with Jesus.

First love here is their love for the truth and the church in Ephesus had fallen away from the truth, because they allowed certain people to infiltrate the church and teach strange doctrine.

3 Just as I urged you upon my departure for Macedonia, to remain on at Ephesus so that you would instruct certain people not to teach strange doctrines, 4 nor to pay attention to myths and endless genealogies, which give rise to useless speculation rather than advance the plan of God, which is by faith, so I urge you now. 1 Timothy 1:3-4 NASB
