Does Isaiah 40:22 state that the Earth is round and Job 26:7 state that the Earth is suspended over nothing?
Is it true that the books of Isaiah and Job, as far back as 2,700 BC, states that the earth is "rounded" (Isaiah 40:22) and "suspended over nothing" (Job 26:7)? Or is it just a translation issue?

ESV - 22 It is he who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them like a tent to dwell in.

Isaiah does say this in Hebrew that implies the Earth is round. Note that this was encored for many years in the mid centuries by all Nations which stated as did the Roman Catholic Church that the earth was FLAT not round.

This incident is described in Isaiah 40 points that the earth is a CIRCLE. You will also note that in Proverbs 8 it points at the earth in the form of a CIRCLE. Also note that Luke 17 look at the people to be transformed at Night and Day at the same time meaning that only a CIRCLE earth could that occur. Hope this helps as you will note that the world in people and God has been pointed out round until the Dark Ages set in and the earth was noted as FLAT when science or simple observation will not support this factor as the earth and ALL planets are round.
