Is Satan omnipresent, if he is not then how does he affect so many lives?

Satan is not omnipresent. Only God is omnipotent and omnipresent. Satan took other fallen creations with him and they work together as an army to destroy humanity. That is how I understand it. Satan can only do what The Lord allows him to do.
