So in your answer you mention "The three "heavens" implied in 2 Corinthians 12:2 would be the terrestrial, telestial, and celestial." What are the definitions of the three? Is the terrestrial here on earth, the telestial being the skys and the Celestial being in the heavenly presence of God? I'm curious because LDS teach 3 heavens but they teach separation. Depending on how "good" you are you attain higher and higher levels of heaven. Of course the highest, the Celestial, which is where God dwells is only available to good Mormons who have had their marriages sealed in the temple and a few other requirements. I don't believe any of that but this question and your comments made me curious because I wonder if this was the germination of that belief.

In Jude 1:14 is written that "Enoch prophesied", so out of curiosity I read the books of Enoch. In 3 Enoch the Hebrew book is narrated that Enoch ascends to the highest heavens. The myth of 7 halls of heaven and 7 levels of heaven was obviously popular. There is no biblical evidence of 7 heavens but it left me wondering. Will they not pass away at the end when the New Heaven and Earth are revealed?
