(1) Daniel is given a Vision when all Dominion, Power, and Kingdoms are Gods now

Daniel 7:13-14
I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him:his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

John is given a vision as to who is the one "coming with 'clouds' of heaven"

Revelation 1:5-7
And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth....And hath made US KINGS and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. Behold, HE COMETH WITH CLOUDS; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him:and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Just so it's clear that this is Jesus second coming...

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, TO MEET THE LORD IN THE AIR:and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

(2) Psalms 98:8-9
Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together Before the Lord; for HE COMETH to judge the earth:
with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.

This is Jesus Christ coming to judge the world, in righteousness

Acts 17:31
Because he hath appointed A DAY, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness By that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

(3) Zechariah 14:5
You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord my God WILL COME, 'AND' all the -holy ones- (or Saints) with him.

Obadiah 1:21
And SAVIOURS shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the Lord 's.

1 Corinthians 6:2 is not in vain. He says the SAINTS shall judge the world. That's what John saw in his vision in the Revelation of Jesus Christ

Revelation 20:4
And I saw thrones, and THEY sat upon them, and JUDGMENT was given unto THEM: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Hope that helps.

Bible students have mentioned that the celebrations contained and mandated by the Lord in Leviticus 23 have to do with our Savior, the Lord's son.

The details of Leviticus 16 will show that this was a celebration to be celebrated once a year and the High Priest will use the blood of the animals to clear everybody from sin. Our Savior comes to earth to undo the first act of desobedience perpetrated by the first humans, Adam and Eve (Gen 3:6). So this godly lamb will be sacrificed and His blood will clean the sins forever to those that accept the gift of grace from this lamb: Jesus.

There is one "holy convocation" to be celebrated during the second half of the year. The Day of Atonement, also explained totally under the writings of Leviticus 16.

This celebration is called YOM KIPPUR, Yom is H3117, yôwm, a day and Kippur is H3725, kippûr, an atoment. This day is also called The Day of Expiation.

It is very interesting that the chosen nation has been celebrating this mandated Holy Convocation since Moses received these instructions a long time ago.

Jesus in Luke 4:16-21 quoted Isaiah 61:1, "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted to proclaim liberty to
the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; vs.2, To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,..." and He closed the book!

I think the purpose of the 1000 year kingdom is to allow time to accept true knowledge without deceptions of any kind present. Like Eden in the Old Testament.

Titus 2:13: "Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ."

Several ideas are present as to what the second coming is...or was...

Some declare it was the giving of the Holy Spirit in Acts 3....BUT God is Triune...Father, Son and HOLY SPIRIT...

Also the church of that time, and today, continues to wait, watch and look for The Blessed Hope!

Another approach suggests that the second coming is when a conversion experience occurs and Jesus is accepted into the heart.

Still others believe it was the judgement and destruction of Jerusalem in A.D. 70. (Christ is the conscience of the world.)

Perhaps it will be when Christ greets you at death...

He came 2000 years ago and walked among us. He is coming when you open your heart and receive Him..He meets you at death. He has come and is coming all the time.

SO WHAT IS THE SECOND COMING?

I think it is the completion of Christ's redemptive work. The church, the body of Christ is completed and The Lord ushers in the kingdom. God will be all in all.

Genesis 3:18,19 the fall created a difficult world.

Romans 8:18-24: The sufferings of this world are not worthy to be compared...for the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God...For we are saved by hope...

The arrival of the kingdom is the second coming of Christ...

This thread of runs throughout scripture.

Christ will be King of King and Lord of Lords. In gospel times, the believers expected it immediately asfter the crucifixion.

Our? Where is the second coming in the Old Testament? God is all, He is the Creator. The kingdom of heaven is within the kingdom of God. It is all His.

Genesis 1:26-28. Man is made in God's image. Created innocent, given a perfect environment. The kingdom will be like that.

Isaiah 9:6, "For unto us a child is born...and the government shall be upon His shoulder..The Prince of Peace."

Isaiah 11, the set up of the Davidic kingdom, that is, Jesus' kingdom!

Exodus 19:6: And you shall be unto me a kingdom of priests (Israel).

1Chronicles 29:11: "Thine, O Lord, is the greatness,... power, the glory...all in the heaven and earth is thine....thine is the kingdom..."

Luke 1:31,32: "..thou shalt...bring forth...JESUS. the Son of the Highest and the Lord God shall give him the throne of his father David."

2 Samuel 7:11-16: David was a type of Christ. Vs. 16, "And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established forever..."

Psalm 22:28: "For the kingdom is the Lord's:..and he is Governor."

Psalm 103:19: "The Lord hath prepared His throne in and His kingdom..."

Psalm 145:13: "Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom..."

Isaiah 9:6, "...His Name shall be...The Mighty God..."

Isaiah chapter 11, the kingdom is set up,...the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord...

Jeremiah chapter 31, Israel's last days.

Jeremiah 32:37-41: the Jewish people return home.

Ezekiel 37:1 - 39:29, The restoration, kingdom and judgment.

Daniel 2, final world empire and the kingdom of heaven. 7:14 The Son receives the kingdom.

Zechariah 12:8: "...the house of David shall be as God..."14:4, and His feet shall stand on the Mount of Olives.

Acts 1:11: why gaze, this Jesus will return in like manner!

The second coming?

The biblical record of creation, the human journey, God's love revealed, paradise regained...

Matthew 6:10: "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done..." Finished!
